1. Wash and drain the poha, sprinkle 1-2 tbsp water over it and keep aside for 5-10 minutes.2. Add salt, lemon juice, sugar, turmeric powder and mix well, again keep aside. 3. Heat the oil in a pan, add mustard seeds and cumin seeds, when seed crackled, add pinch of hing, curry leaves, green chili and saute for few second.
4. Now add onion, peanuts, sliced coconuts and stir fry them till golden brown on medium flame.
5. Add chopped coriander leaves and again stir it again on low flame.
6. Add poha and mix well, cover it for 2 minutes on low flame.
7. Switch off the flame, donât open for 1-2 minutes, as inside steam helps to make poha softer.
8. Kanda Poha is ready to serve hot with garma-garam chai (tea).
